After the European experience supported by EACEA with 7th Extinction, Jazz:Re:Found returns with its national artist residency program, thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture through the Jazz Music Promotion 2025 call. The call for applications to JZ:RF Studio is now open until August 20, aimed at selecting the best young jazz talents in Italy (under 35), with the goal of creating a live and recording project that represents the new wave of Italian jazz.
Since 2018, Jazz:Re:Found—thanks to the collaboration with MIC and SIAE—has launched a residency program based on a new and original methodology developed as a team-building model: a process conceived as a truly immersive creative experience. In recent years, this format has enabled the realization of high-level projects: week-long residencies featuring participants who have gone on to develop successful artistic paths and well-deserved professional careers.
Artists such as Davide Shorty, Daykoda, DJ Rou, Veezo and Kidd Mojo, Marta Del Grandi, Carlot-ta, Marco Falcon and Gianluca Pellerito, Camilla Rolando, and Micol Touadi—just to name a few—have taken part in the residency projects, deepening their creative vision within the JZ:RF framework while sharing a key moment in their artistic growth.
This year, the JZ:RF Studio 2025 residency will be led by mentors Rosa Brunello, Kety Fusco, and Raffaele Costantino, coordinated by Denis Longhi, Creative Director of the Jazz:Re:Found Festival.
The project will take place October 19-24 at the new cultural hub Ottimo Litening, located in the former industrial area of Vercelli.
